Over the last 30 years, I have ‘bitten the bullet’ a number of times, starting new ventures which I had little experience in, but which have shaped my life in wonderful ways.
I learnt very early in the piece, that the support or lack of support from family, friends and colleagues, holds the key to whether you succeed or not.
I learnt that it is important to surround yourself with positive people and limit the time you spend with negative people, who can sabotage your plans. Research shows that having the right support around you is more likely to help you achieve your goals.
