COVID pandemic-Dealing With Life’s Changes
Just recently, I had a ‘light bulb’ moment, that the book I wrote 8 years ago, “As Time Goes By, Dealing With Life’s Changes” is perfect for helping people to deal with this incredible year of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Many of the chapters in this book, explore the ways in which we can all deal with the different kinds of major changes that can happen in our lives. Be it your health – mental, emotional, physical or social, relationships or finances, to name a few, my suggestions have helped many people resolve issues and improve the quality of their lives – to live a healthier, happier life & slow down the ageing process.
Every chapter gives tips on how to deal with all kinds of issues. An important one is about how we think. Research shows that our mental health has a big impact on our emotions & physical health.. My motto is:- Catch your thoughts – Change your thoughts – Change your life. Very powerful!
Another important issue is how to communicate more effectively in any kind of relationship. My chapter on communicating effectively, gives easy to follow tips on how to do this.
Since early this year, when COVID took hold, there has been a sharp rise in mental health issues & suicide. I see my book & the stories from people that are in my book, that each small step you take to live a more positive life, helps you to come to terms with the unexpected changes that come into our lives.
